RenWeb for Students

RenWeb’s ParentsWeb (which is also used for Students) is a private and secure student web portal that will allow each student to view academic information specific to them, while protecting their information from others. Here you will find the following

    - Grades - notifications, assignment grades and status
    - Lunch - menus 
    - Attendance - tardy, absences, excused, unexcused
    - Classroom Assignments - lesson plans and homework

IMPORTANT! - Even though both the STUDENT and PARENT RenWeb accounts are accessed through "ParentWeb" they are two separate accounts. Students have their OWN RenWeb accounts that are DIFFERENT than their Parents' RenWeb Account.
That is all.

Creating a RenWeb Student Account (MUST have your email setup FIRST. To learn how to do that, click here): 
  • Go to and click “Logins”.
  • Click “ParentsWeb Login”.
  • Type SBA’s District Code - "SBA-TN"
  • Click "Create New ParentsWeb Account"
  • Type your email address and an email is sent to you.
    After receiving the email: 
  • Click the “Click to change password” link in the email you received. 
    This link is only valid for 30 minutes.
  • A web browser displays your Name and RenWeb ID
  • Type a User Name (we suggest the first part of your email address – i.e. 21JSmith), Type in a Password and Confirm the password.
  • Click "Save Password." A message displays at the top of the browser, "User Name/Password successfully updated."
  • You can now log into ParentsWeb as a student using your new User Name and Password.

RenWeb Troubleshooting:  If you experience trouble with accessing RenWeb, please attempt the following prior to contacting SBA for help:

RenWeb Class Sign Ups (Course Requests)

In the Winter of each academic year, students/parents are given the opportunity to select their courses for the following academic year.  There are 2 ways to do this as follows:

On a Desktop/Browser
  • Open any web browser (we recommend Firefox but Chrome and Safari work)
  • Navigate to
  • Hoover over "Logins" on the right side and select "ParentsWeb Login"
  • Login with your Student Credentials like normal (see above instructions)
  • District Code - SBA-TN
  • User Name - typically your what is before the @ symbol of your SBA email address (i.e. 16jdoe or
  • Password - use your password
  • Navigate to "Student Information" then "Course Request"
  • Fill out the entire form and click "Save"
iOS App - RenWeb Home
  • From your iPad, open the "RenWeb Home" App
  • Navigate to "Student" then "Course Request"
  • Fill out the entire form and click "Save"
