COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULE

Practice
Friday, May 22 - 8:30 a.m.
Closed to seniors ONLY. Seniors should arrive early, park in their pre-assigned spots as communicated for the ceremony, and wait to be released from their vehicle via radio call on FM 96.9. The field will be wet, so dress accordingly, and bring a raincoat just in case.

Commencement Ceremony
Because of the current forecast, we will operate off the options below, planning for the first (original) date/time unless otherwise notified. Please be patient and flexible as we try our best to execute a successful graduation ceremony in person for our seniors!
PRIMARY: Friday, May 22 - 6:30 p.m.
SECONDARY: Friday, May 22 - 8:00 p.m.
TERTIARY: Saturday, May 23 - 10:00 a.m.


DETAILS

In accordance with the Hamilton County Health Department's approval of Silverdale's graduation exercises, please note these important details:
  • Commencement 2020 will be a closed ceremony, open only to:
    • graduating seniors
    • 5 guests per senior family (not per senior)
    • high school faculty
    • support staff necessary for event management and production

  • Parking
    • The maximum number of cars allowed on campus per senior is 2.
    • Parking spots will be assigned in advance so that when you arrive, you'll know where to park.

  • Entry/Exit
    • Remain in your vehicles and tune your FM radio to 96.9 for details and your call to be escorted into the complex.
    • We will escort our seniors and their families from the parking lot to your table directly.
  • Seating
    • Round tables on the football field, spaced appropriately between one another.

  • Recording/Streaming
    • The ceremony will be streamed live for friends and family to watch, but not intended for the general public. Please feel free to share the link with everyone who cannot be in attendance in person (link TBA)!
    • The ceremony will also be recorded as a keepsake for our seniors and their families and distributed via email on our Vimeo page.
