Senior Lunch Privilege - Off-campus
Guidelines:
Seniors may eat lunch off campus on Fridays beginning September 9th provided there are no scheduled events during this time.
Parents must have the permission form notarized, giving their specified permission for their student to transport another student or ride with another student. For your convenience, Kim McDonald is a Notary. This form is also on the Parent Portal.
Students may sign out at 11:05am and must sign back in by 12:20pm. It is their responsibility to be back at school on time. If not, they will lose the privilege for the next week. Three tardies will result in the student losing the privilege for the remainder of the year.
AUGUST
“Last First Day” Breakfast - It has become a tradition at Silverdale for parents to provide breakfast for the seniors on the first day of school (August 16th). This is strictly a parent-led event. Please work together to make this a special time. We will reserve the lobby to the right of the reception desk for you to fill with breakfast items that morning (this should include drinks and paper goods). Items that don’t need refrigeration can be dropped off at the reception desk the day before if needed.
Ocoee Ridge Camp – August 18th and 19th
All high school students will have a spiritual retreat and the opportunity to engage in team building activities during a trip to Ocoee Ridge Camp in Old Fort. The permission form will be a part of registration. Students need to arrive at school by 11:30am and we will leave at 12:00pm on Thursday the 18th. Please eat lunch before you come. We will return by 1:00pm on Friday the 19th.
