FACTS Family Portal
for Students
FACTS Family Portal is a private and secure student web portal that will allow each student to view academic information specific to them while protecting their information. Here you will find the following:
- Grades - notifications, assignment grades and status
- Contacts - contact information for other students and staff
- Attendance - tardies and absences (excused and unexcused)
- Classroom Assignments - lesson plans and homework
How to access FACTS Family Portal
IMPORTANT! - Even though both the STUDENT and PARENT FACTS accounts are accessed through FACTS Family Portal, they are two separate accounts. Students have their OWN FACTS accounts that are DIFFERENT from their parents' FACTS account.
Creating a FACTS Family Portal Student Account (MUST have your silverdaleba.org.org email setup FIRST - Click Here):
Go to www.renweb.com and click “Parent Login” at the top of the page.
Click “FACTS Family Portal (ParentsWeb) Login”.
Type SBA’s District Code - "SBA-TN"
Click "Create New ParentsWeb Account"
Type your silverdaleba.org email address and an email is sent to you.
After receiving the email:
Click the “Click to change password” link in the SBAConnect.org email you received.
This link is only valid for 6 hours.
A web browser displays your Name and FACTS Family Portal ID
Type a User Name (we suggest the first part of your SBAConnect.org email address – i.e. 21JSmith), Type in a Password and Confirm the password.
Click "Save Password." A message displays at the top of the browser, "User Name/Password successfully updated."
You can now log into FACTS Family Portal as a student using your new username and password.
FACTS Family Portal Troubleshooting: If you have trouble accessing FACTS Family Portal, please do the following prior to contacting SBA for help:
Restart your browser (Click the "x" button on the browser then try to go to FACTS again.)
Restart your computer
Clear your cookies (Youtube Video showing how to delete cookies for most browsers)
Try a different browser - (Chrome and Firefox seem to work best with RenWeb)
For Internet Explorer 10, please try to turn on Compatibility mode. (View this short video)
