Connecting to WiFi

SBA maintains more than 200 wireless access points over 450,000 square feet of school space as well as outdoor WiFi in the breezeway and throughout outdoor activity areas for easy access by student devices.

Please refer back to this page throughout the semester for changes in connection procedures.

Student Connection - iPad, iPhone, & iPod Touch:

• Unlock your iPad

• Open "Settings" (gear icon)

• Touch "Wi-Fi" in the first section of Settings

• Select "SBA" under "CHOOSE A NETWORK"

• Enter your Active Directory Username and Password

  • Username - Typically Graduation Year, first initial then last name (i.e. Jane Doe of the class of 2021 = 21jdoe)

  • Password - Use the password you use to login to school computers (for more information on this log in click here)

• When prompted, touch "Trust"

• Wait for the check mark to appear

• You are now connected

Android Users (slight differences may be present depending on Android version):

• Unlock your Android Device

• Open "Settings" 

• Touch "Wi-Fi" 

• Select "SBA" under "WiFi Networks"

  • Under "Identity" enter your Active Directory username (i.e. jdoe)

    • Under "Password" enter your Active Directory (computer login) password 

    • Note: You may need to scroll the screen to see the password field

    • Tap "Connect" (some versions show "Save")

• Wait for the word "Connected" to appear under SBA-Students

• Confirm connectivity by using a browser to visit a well know website like www.cnn.com

Student Connection - Other devices:

• Use your Wi-Fi settings 

• Select "SBA-Students" under "CHOOSE A NETWORK"

• Enter your Active Directory Username and Password

  • User - Typically grad year, first initial, then last name (i.e. Jane Doe = 17jdoe)

    • Password - Use the password you use to login to school computers

  • ChromeBook Users - Choose PEAP as your authentication method

• Confirm connectivity by using a browser to visit a well-known website like www.google.com

Guest Connection - iPads:

• Unlock your iPad

• Open "Settings" (gear icon)

• Touch "Wi-Fi" in the first section of Settings

• Select "Guest" under "CHOOSE A NETWORK"

• Wait for the check mark to appear

• You are now connected.

Guest Connection - Other devices:

• Use your WiFi settings 

• Select "Guest" under Available Networks

• Confirm connectivity by using a browser to visit a well know website like www.google.com
